A family of artists and and artisans
Margherita Vellini was born in 1969 in Bardolino (VR) as the fourth generation of a family of artists and craftsmen, capable of working with different materials and techniques.
Even at an early age, she practised painting and the art of ceramics in her father’s laboratory, as well as to exercise and nurture what would become the hallmarks of her work: talent in composition, great manual dexterity and great mastery of light.

Margherita also perfected her knowledge through her studies, graduating in Ceramics at the Art Institute in Nove (VI).
He opened his first workshop in Asolo (TV) in 1999, but he already had a lot of experience behind him: he had an oven at his disposition since the age of ten.
In 2003 he opened his current shop in Bardolino, a popular tourist location on Lake Garda: from here his latest creations literally took flight, going on to illuminate homes and offices all over Europe.

A genuine Italian craft
Margherita Vellini’s production is mainly divided into two types of ceramic lamps: table or floor lamps and pendant lamps.
As this is a completely handcrafted production, all models in both sections can be customised according to different parameters (size, colour and cut). There is no serial number, for a very specific reason: being hand-carved and hand-painted, each lamp is inevitably unique and unrepeatable.
